The Storm

O.K. The Storm had their first away game and well they worked very hard but lost. It was really fun because all of us parents painted our car windows with team spirit and Michael and I bought the kids the sun guards for their little faces. They looked so cute. The tape was bigger then their little cheeks. The Storm worked very hard during their game they did lose but I believe that they were the best team on the field. Our boys played a clean game as it was very apparent that the Oceanside Wildcats have been taught to cheat and hold their flags. This team has been through some good and bad, but no matter what they are little hero's in my heart. Especially that number 52. He really has taken hold of me for life.

My beautiful family

Wow, The beginning of this school year has been quit the busy one. All the kids are in school and Matthew started Kindergarten this year. Lillian started middle school and once again the girls are together. Veronica loves that she has her little sister at school with her. I am so amazed at how close they are. How blessed that their best friend is each other. Veronica this year made Avid and that is just awesome. This will give her a jump start on scholarhips for college and everything. The in's and the out's. We could not be more proud of what she has been doing with her education. Lillian is in art. She really does not care for her art teacher but she is so eager to learn how to draw and be creative in that since. I know that she will do wonderful in this class. Matthew, wow what can I say. He has been keeping ALL of us on our toes. He has truly made his family very happy and proud of him with going to kindergarten and playing flag football. He works so hard to do the very best he can do. Michael is the head coach of Matthews team. Michael got this position in a hurry but those kids just love him. Michael is doing a wonderful job teaching not just his son but all of those boys how to be great ball players. I am very proud of both my boys. I am so blessed to be able to watch a daddy and his "Little Bear" bond so close.
As for me, I am taking some time off from the Worship Team and just being mom. I am so glad that I made that decision. I do not plan on stepping away for a very long time. I love playing my flute and singing for the Lord. I am just waiting for God to open that door for me again. It is all in His plans not mine.
So anyway, I hope that you are enjoying our Davis Family blog spot. I will keep you posted so please visit our site often.
